To ensure that your details remain confidential, all communication between you and our web server are encrypted using recognised encryption methods. We use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security protocol which is supported by all the new browsers and web servers. The SSL certificate ensures that you communicate with our web server.
The payment card suppliers (Nets, Visa and MasterCard) make specific requirements for how Ewire stores data. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) means that our data infrastructure is continually tested by third-party experts. This is your guarantee that our systems are optimally secure and that Ewire maintains its security certificates and licences.
When you make online transactions via Ewire, your card details are not made available to others and therefore there is no risk that your details can be used for fraudulent purposes.
All Ewire users are approved at different security levels. This is a further guarantee that all transactions end in the correct hands.
